Western Illinois University Holding Board Of Trustees Meeting June 10-11

MACOMB/Moline, IL — The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will hold its regular quarterly meeting at 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 11 for trustees and University leadership in Riverfront Hall, Rooms 103/104 on the WIU-Quad Cities campus, with social distance measures Western Illinois University Holding Board Of Trustees Meeting June 10-11in place, and via Zoom for trustees who cannot attend in person, as well as for those presenting general reports, group reports and public comments.

The Board shall convene in a closed session in person and via Zoom beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 10 in Riverfront Hall, Rooms 103/104 for the purpose of considering matters provided for in 5 ILCS 120/2c. The full Board agenda and supporting materials can be found at wiu.edu/bot.

The on-campus meeting location is not open to the public due to social gathering protocols and social distancing measures that remain in place at WIU. To ensure compliance with the Open Meetings Act, the meeting will be live-streamed on WIU’s YouTube Channel at youtube.com/user/WesternIllinoisU.

Public comments will be held for a total of 30 minutes. Comments will be limited to three minutes for those speaking (via Zoom) and 500 words for submitted written comments. Those who wish to speak will be placed in a Zoom waiting room. Those who wish to have comments read or wish to make public comments via Zoom must email Nicky Friedrichsen at ND-Friedrichsen@wiu.edu by 3 p.m., Thursday, June 10.
