United We Live (E.H. & J.H., Charlie Company 5th/46th. Vietnam, 30 July 1970), 2018, relief, 13 x 17 in.

through Friday, Nov. 6.

Through “Bridging the Gap,” EVAC uses storytelling and art to educate the public about life in the military. EVAC curators have interviewed veterans about their experiences and artists have made an edition of prints based on their interpretation of those stories.

Veterans who participated in the project served from W.W. II through the post 9-11 period, in all branches of the armed services.

Sections of the interviews are displayed with the art. The goal of the exhibition is to create a better understanding for civilian viewers.

The exhibit is open free to the public. The gallery is open from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays and 1-4 p.m. Saturdays. The gallery is closed on University holidays.
