‘Valor And Victory Gardens’ WW II Exhibit Open At German American Heritage Center
Members of the German American Heritage Center & Museum are invited to join the German American Heritage Center in Davenport on Sunday, September 27th at 2pm for a special first look at our newest exhibit, “Valor & Victory Gardens: WWII in the Hawkeye State.” The event will begin with a presentation by S. Patrick Allie, Director of the Rock Island Arsenal Museum. Following the presentation, members are invited to enjoy refreshments from the Swiss Baker and view the exhibit.The museum is located at 712 W. 2nd St., Davenport.
