Coming next will be a sold out performance by magician David Casas, followed by a special event in conjunction with the Downtown Moline Centre’s new holiday event – Holiday Hop. The Black Box will play host to Santa and WQPT will join the theatre to hand out books to children. The event will take place on November 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. At 8:00 pm the theatre will present “It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.” The play will continue Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 2:30 pm.

Finishing out the season will be the deliciously silly musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” Winner of the Tony and the Drama Desk Awards for Best Book, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” has charmed audiences across the country with its effortless wit and humor. The story features six mid-pubescents who vie for the spelling championship of their county. “Six spellers enter; one speller leaves!”
