Sevendust Rocks the Rust Belt December 29

Sevendust
Atlanta-based quintet Sevendust are one of the most prominent nu-metal acts, rising above their contemporaries with an aggressive blend of bottom-heavy riffs and soulful, accessible melodies delivered by vocalist Lajon Witherspoon. Over the years, the band balanced the raw energy and brutality of early albums like 1997’s Sevendust and 1999’s Home with increasingly atmospheric production and even late-era acoustic sets on releases like Time Travelers & Bonfires (2014) and Kill the Flaw (2015), home to the Grammy-nominated single “Thank You.”

Nonpoint
Masters of, and pioneers in the nu-metal/rap-rock world, Nonpoint has quietly been the biggest and best kept secret of the rock/metal genre. Their songs and renowned performances have had music legends, from all corners of the genre and music industry, standing side stage to revel in the mayhem, to witness magic unfolding and audiences ignited. Hearing the chorus of the crowd as they recite the iconic melodies and lyrics of vocalist and frontman phenom, Elias Soriano. Watching him tentacle his iconic dreadlocks feet from the spinning and flying bodies in front of him and surrounding him onstage. Then with just a look, or wave of his hand, he makes a sea of people transform. Behind Elias, there’s roaring thunder created by co-founder and showman Robb Rivera as he flies through the air just before crashing down with unmatched force into their music. Nonpoint family, rhythm guitarist, vocalist and visual performance master Rasheed Thomas alongside the high-flying, powerhouse on the bass and Adam Woloszyn both bringing force with medusa hair whips and flying guitars; they’ve re-defined the newest incarnation of Nonpoint. Now with the addition of Jason Zeilstra on lead guitar, whose chemistry with the rest of its members has begun to create a concoction that is poised to intoxicate audiences both old and new.

Ill Nino
ILL NIÑO are an American Latin Metal sextet. Formed in 1999 by drummer Dave Chavarri. Best known for their musically bending niche “Latin Metal”, the group have released 7 studio albums, 2 EPs, and 1 greatest hits album, selling over 2 million albums worldwide. Ill Niño’s broad and dedicated fan base spreads across .5 million followers on Spotify / Apple Music, .5 million followers across social platforms, and across millions of plays on Youtube.

Another Day Dawns
Another Day Dawns is a high-energy rock band that was established in 2010 by drummer Nick McGeehan and guitarist Tyler Ritter of Lehighton, Pennsylvania. Initially performing classic rock covers, the addition of front-man Dakota Sean ignited their evolution into a full-on original act. The band quickly generated buzz across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. Another Day Dawns has earned opening slots for Issues, Avatar, Breaking Benjamin, Atreyu, Badflower, Starset, and BuckCherry. With the new release of their EP Stranger in January of 2020, the band is set to tour extensively across the U.S. and solidify their ranks amongst the top rock bands.

Tristan Layne Tapscott has been dubbed the “Quad Cities’ P.T. Barnum” and although the person who initially said it meant it as an insult, he happily accepts the title.
