Rock Island’s Speakeasy Hosting Karaoke Starting Saturday Night

The Speakeasy is the newest location in the Quad Cities for Karaoke! Located in downtown Rock Island, The Speakeasy is happy to be taking over the successful weekend Karaoke event from popular downtown bar, MD Green’s, which unfortunately has closed.

Rock Island's Speakeasy Hosting Karaoke Starting Saturday NightThe Speakeasy has two Saturdays in April scheduled, April 17 and 24, and then, beginning in May, Karaoke will be happening the second Saturday of each month!

What makes The Speakeasy different than other Karaoke events in town? “The biggest difference is we have an actual stage you’ll be performing on! We also have professional stage lighting and sound so you will sound and look great when singing your favorite songs!” said Brett Hitchcock, Director of Audience Development.

Doors will open at 8:30 and Karaoke begins at 9:00 and will end at 1:00 a.m. Because of social distancing, capacity is limited. There is no cover charge. There are tables and chairs and a full bar for any “liquid courage” one may need before hitting the stage! Those attending must be 21 or older.

The Speakeasy is also happy to have DJ Relevant Social Event formally from MD Green’s doing their shows. Those that were regulars at MD Greens know that DJ John changes his name for every show! Just another fun aspect you won’t get anywhere else in town!

If you love Karaoke, we hope you will give The Speakeasy a try!
