Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse, Rock Island, is holding auditions for its holiday musical, “Miracle on 34^th Street.”

Auditions will be held Saturday, Aug. 31 and Saturday, Sept. 7. Children’s open call will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the adult call will begin at 10:45 am. Auditions will be held at the theater,
1828 3rd Ave., Rock Island.

Kris Kringle takes on the cynics in this musical adaptation of the beloved holiday classic. The holiday treasure will be directed by Corinne Johnson, who recently directed “Murder on the Orient Express” at Circa ’21, with choreography by Andrea Moore (“Church Basement Ladies,” “Grumpy Old Men”), and music direction by resident music director, Ron May.

Character breakdown and requirements can be found at circa21.com/auditions. Video submissions will be accepted for those who are not able to attend this audition. Production dates, including rehearsals, are October 24 – December 29, 2024. All roles in these professional productions are paid.
