Kids Reading Challenge Rocking Rock Island Public Library
Are your kids ready to rock some reading?
With distance learning becoming the norm, and more time at home leading to more time for reading, the Rock Island Library is stepping up to help parents and kids with an all-ages online reading challenge that the whole family can do together!
The stay-at-home challenge offers six virtual reading badges and six for completing online activities, such as trying World Book online, checking out a magazine from RB Digital, or learning something new with HelpNow or JobNow from Brainfuse.
Complete just six badges (you choose which ones) to complete the challenge.
Try it today with books from the RIPL OverDrive Libby, eRead Illinois/Axis, or hoopla digital collections. Or turn to that To-Be-Read (TBR) stack that you’ve been meaning to get to!
Audiobooks, eBooks, children’s books, graphic novels (comics,) and any other reading count for badges!
Are you new to digital reading and learning? You’ll need to log in with your Rock Island Library card number and in some cases, a PIN. (Usually last four digits of your library card.) Hoopla and RB Digital will have you create an account.
Read and learn on your computer. Or, you want to use these on a tablet or phone, download the app that goes with each product.
Sign in with your existing Beanstack password (use the forgot password link if you can’t remember your login). Create a new account if this is your first time using Beanstack.
