Rock Island Fitness And Activity Center Reopening Friday

The Rock Island Fitness and Activity Center is scheduled to reopen on Friday, June 26th as we move into Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan. All amenities will be open with the exception of the steam rooms, saunas, whirlpool, and indoor playground. Members will need to wear Rock Island Fitness And Activity Center Reopening Fridayface coverings when not exercising, maintain social distance of at least six feet, and sanitize equipment and exercise areas before and after each use.

Temperature screenings will be taken upon entry to verify no symptoms of COVID-19 symptoms. Members will need to sign a waiver upon entry each day. Extra staff will be on hand for cleaning and sanitizing the building throughout the day. RIFAC will be limited to 50% occupancy so guest passes will not be permitted.

Monthly automatic deductions will begin once we open. Annual memberships will be extended for the amount of time RIFAC was closed.

Fitness classes will resume Monday, June 29th for the month of July. Indoor fitness classes with limited participants include Cycling, Ballet Barre Sculpting, and SilverSneakers. Land fitness classes will be available outdoors at RIFAC and Schwiebert Park including Beachbody PiYo, HIIT, Insanity Live, Pilates, SilverSneakers, Stability Ball, Transform Live, Turbo Kick, and Zumba Gold. Indoor water fitness classes and swim lessons will resume on June 29th. Participants can register online at ePark, by phone at (309) 732-7275 or in person beginning June 26th.

RIFAC Summer Hours are:

Monday-Thursday 5am-10pm, Friday 5am-8pm, Saturday 6am-3pm, and closed on Sundays.
