Rock Island Arts Alley Grand Opening Celebration Wednesday Night
The grand opening of Arts Alley in downtown Rock Island is taking place this Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Come experience this vibrant outdoor event space, brought to life with more than $500,000 in improvements, including two beautiful murals.
The festivities will kick off with a formal ceremony celebrating the completion of Arts Alley and conclude with a tree lighting at 4:30 p.m. as dusk sets in.
The event will include:
– Caroling by the talented @Rock Island High School Choirs
– The unveiling of the OneSound Piano, sponsored by the Quad Cities Cultural Trust
– Signature drinks from ICONS MARTINI and Theo’s Java Café
– Shop local at the debut of two new retail stalls by Crawford Company, featuring Buttercupp Candles and Lagomarcino’s!
After the tree lighting, the community is invited to head next door to The Urban Reserve for “An Elevated Unveiling” of the luxury rooftop event space that will feature a special selection of food and beverages.
