Recycle the Runway Benefiting Dress for Success Quad Cities Going Virtual

Dress for Success Quad Cities is going virtual for their next big event — Recycle the Runway!

The gig will take place Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. live streamed via zoom.

Recycle the Runway Benefiting Dress for Success Quad Cities Going VirtualDress for Success is focused on empowering women in our Quad Cities community to achieve economic independence through career and professional development. The funds raised by Recycle the Runway each year play a critical role in serving local women.

Join Royal Neighbors of America and Exelon Corporation, along with celebrity emcee Angie Sharp, for an evening of fun for a great cause. Enjoy a “Project Runway” style fashion show where local designers will showcase ensembles crafted from bags of recycled clothing and accessories they purchased sight unseen.

The audience will vote on the winners – with the top 3 taking home cash prizes – so gather your “virtual table” and come cheer on your favorite local artist or small business owner!

The event is free to attend but registration is required. A minimum $15 donation is suggested, which also counts as an entry to win one of the fabulous gift baskets that will be raffled off throughout the evening. All donations are tax-deductible.
