QC Public Art Trail Adds 30 New Sculptures in Collaboration with Quad City Arts

Visit Quad Cities, in partnership with Quad City Arts, has announced the addition of 30 new sculptures to the QC Public Art Trail. This development underscores the Quad Cities’ ongoing commitment to cultural engagement and further solidifies Visit Quad Cities’ declaration as the Creative Capital of the Midwest.

The QC Public Art Trail is a mobile-based, self-guided tour that offers an immersive experience with over 100 exhibitions, sculptures, murals, and galleries in the Quad Cities region. Participants can explore and engage with a diverse array of public art projects at their own pace. The trail provides a rich, interactive way to experience the region’s cultural offerings and artistic landmarks.

“We are incredibly grateful to Quad City Arts for their partnership and dedication to bringing world-class public art to our region,” said Lindsey Row, Director of Public Relations & Communications at Visit Quad Cities. “Public art is not only integral to our Tourism Master Plan but also plays a critical role in activating our public spaces and promoting the vibrancy of our destination. Through the QC Public Art Trail, we are committed to ensuring that art continues to inspire and create positive experiences for both residents and visitors.”

Quad City Arts leads the charge in shaping the urban landscape of the region through its Public Sculpture Program. This year, the organization facilitated the installation of 30 new sculptures that will remain on display across the region through May 2025. The sculptures are leased for one year and can be purchased for permanent installation or replaced with new sculptures. Notable expansions to the Public Sculpture Program and the QC Public Art Trail include the City of Clinton’s wind-themed sculptures along the Mississippi River and the DeWitt Fine Arts Foundation and the DeWitt Community Library’s plans for a sculpture garden, featuring two sculptures this year.
