A special Library2Go “Park and Craft” event will be offered Monday, October 5 during the vehicle’s regular 2:30 to 3:30 pm stop at Black Hawk State Park. To pick up a no-charge craft kit at the Mobile Library, participants sign up at www.RockIslandLibrary.org, or call 309-732-READ (7323.) Participants who plan to complete the craft at the park should bring scissors and glue. Children must be accompanied by a guardian.
Due to social distancing, there is no entry onboard Library2Go. Staff will bring items to vehicles. The WIFI signal extends around the vehicle. The change to a weekly route, instead of alternating week schedules, resulted from a survey of library cardholders.
