Rock Island’s Radicle Effect Brewerks, 1340 31st St., isn’t just known for their great beers and awesome bartenders, they’re also picking up a reputation as a terrific spot for local Food Trucks to serve up some delicious grub with the Radicle potables.

New Food Truck, The Food Mechanic, Serving It Up At Rock Island's Radicle Effect TonightTonight from 5-8 p.m. you can head to Radicle for a new foodie on the wheels — The Food Mechanic. Chef Doug Lear is gonna be killin it with food items like:

Goomballs…. Chef prepared Italian meatballs on a giant crustini, tomato “gravy”, ridiculous amount of whole milk mozzarella and homegrown fresh basil.

Nice buns!!…beef and pork blend taco meat stuffed deep inside a super cheesy fresh baked bun!! Served with a nice puddle of RUDE sauce (a direct duplication of this legendary QC Mexican Food spot’s “hot sauce”)

Dip Stick.. a soft pretzel perfectly fried and salted then wrapped up in a cheese skirt…only the Food Mechanic could come up with this one

Cateja (Dolce de Leche) Churros (2).. if you’ve never tried..it’s a must

Southwest Mac-N-Cheese..
Mac-n-cheese on a whole ‘nother level..

Funnel of Love ..funnel cake part 2
Done up in “fry” form..served with caramelized salted chocolate.

If you’re hungry, or thirsty, head to Radicle for a radical night.
