Native American Storytime Drumming Hits Iowa’s Putnam Museum Saturday

Native American Storytime Drumming will take place starting at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at the Putnam Museum, 1717 W. 12th St., Davenport.

In the Black Earth | Big River exhibit, Larry Lockwood will be performing drumming songs and stories at 11:15 am and at 2:15 pm. This program runs for 45 minutes and is free with museum admission.
Larry Lockwood is a part of the Northern Cheyenne Nation and works with the Native American Coalition of the Quad Cities.
This program is made possible by the QC River Connections Grant, Clean River Advisory Council.
