Stolley Rejoins Daytrotter
Co-founding member Pat Stolley has rejoined Daytrotter.
The site’s founding engineer rejoined the 11-year-old Quad Cities founded music website and venue this week. Pat Stolley was the recording engineer at Daytrotter from 2006-2008, tracking bands such as Iron & Wine, Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, Vampire Weekend, Cold War Kids, and many more. Pat Stolley owns Futureappletree, a Quad Cities studio where hundreds of Daytrotter sessions have been recorded, as well as countless albums from popular local musicians. Stolley will oversee session recordings. Ian Harris has also been added to the Daytrotter team as the lead session recording engineer. Ian Harris has been recording sessions for Daytrotter at Futureappletree for years. Having Pat Stolley back at Daytrotter means two founding members are now on the team, the other Daytrotter founding member being Illustrator Johnnie Cluney.
“I’m looking forward to keeping the reels spinning and the bands grinning in an official capacity,” Stolley said.
Daytrotter is the best place to find your new and old favorite bands. Daytrotter gives you something special – exclusive, alternate versions of old songs and unreleased tracks from over 5,000 artists with over 6,200 sessions, which are recorded straight to 2-track with no overdubs.
