If you are looking for an up-beat and exciting way to spend Father’s Day weekend with the whole family, then look no further than the Geneseo Music Festival!

This summer festival is full to the brim with food, arts and crafts, fun for the kids, parades and of course a whole lot of music! The 49^th Annual Geneseo Music Festival will be held in Geneseo City Park at 115 S Oakwood Avenue from June 16-18. Everyone is invited to come witness the beautiful park setting while enjoying an extremely wide selection of activities.

Here is a schedule of the weekend’s festivities:

Friday June 16

6 p.m.                                        Kiwanis Doo Dah Parade

Rotary Supper and Ice Cream Social

6:30 p.m.                                Little Miss Henry County Pageant

7 p.m.    Rotary’s Queen Contest (If it rains, the contest will be moved to the Middle School)

Saturday June 17

8 a.m. – noon                        Geneseo Farmers Market

8 a.m.                                        Maple City 4 Run (starting at Geneseo High School)

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.                                    Family Fest! (Inflatables, face painting, animals)

Arts and Crafts Show

11 a.m. – 2 p.m.                                    Pork Chop lunch by Geneseo Ag Alumni/FFA

1 p.m.                                        Pedal Pull

5 p.m.                                        Steak Sandwich/Tenderloin Supper by VFW Auxiliary

5 p.m. – 7 p.m.                     Ice Cream Social by Geneseo Art League

Sunday June 18

7-11 a.m.                                 Fly-in/Drive-In Pancake Breakfast at Gen-Air Park

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.                                    Arts and Crafts Show

1 p.m.    Parade sponsored by Vibrant Credit Union with the theme “Let the Good Times Roll”

5:30-7:30 p.m.  The Tailfins

8:30-10 p.m.       The Roy Krunk Trio

Sunday June 18

10:30 a.m.            First Lutheran Church worship service

2 p.m.    Artists in Motion

3 p.m.    Musical Memories
