On Friday, March 3, the I Wireless Center will open its doors for his 7:00 p.m. concert. The I Wireless Center is located at 1201 River Drive in Moline. Brantley Gilbert began his country music career with the release of his debut album “Modern Day Prodigal Son” in 2009. He released his second album “Halfway to Heaven” the following year. In 2011, he signed with Valory Music Co, which is a division of Big Machine Records. Big Machine Records is also known for producing Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, and Rascal Flatts. With Valory Music, Gilbert rereleased “Halfway to Heaven” with new recordings and bonus tracks. Its first two singles were “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.” Both singles went to number one on the Hot Country Songs chart. In 2013, he won the American Country Music New Male Artist award.

Gilbert’s second Valory Album was released in May 2014 and titled “Just As I Am.” The lead single for this album, “Bottoms Up,” also reached number one on the charts. For the second single, he collaborated with Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett to perform “Small Town Throwdown.” The third single, “One Hell of an Amen,” became Brantley Gilbert’s fourth number one hit in 2015.

Brantley Gilbert is also known for writing songs that were recorded by Colt Ford and Jason Aldean. These songs include “Dirt Road Anthem,” and “My Kinda Party.” Gilbert’s latest album, “The Devil Don’t Sleep,” was released January 27, 2017 and has its single “The Weekend” placed at number 14 on the US Hot Country Chart.
