Moline’s Black Box Theater Holding Auditions For Spring/Summer Season!

The Black Box Theatre is holding auditions for the upcoming spring/summer season.

Auditions will be held at the theatre located in downtown Moline at 1623 5th Avenue, Moline, IL on Saturday, May 15 from 10 am to noon. If you are unable to attend the audition, please contact the theatre at thebbtheatre@gmail.com and arrange for a video audition to be delivered

The Black Box Theatre is at 1623 5th Ave., Moline.

no later than May 15th.

Roles open include:

Hate Mail – One male, one female. Late 20’s – early 30’s (these are readers roles and require nominal memorization.) Runs late May early June.

I and You – One male (must be African American) and one female (Caucasian or Asian) and must look like they are seniors in high school.  Rehearses and runs in June and  early July

Mystery (To be named) but seeking a late 30’s early 40’s femme fatale, but we must never know that she can be fatal. July rehearsals/opening  in August

The Guys – Male and Female in late 30’s early 40’s. This play is being done in honor of the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. Rehearses in August runs in September.

Auditions will be reading from sides for the role you are interested in. Please wear a face mask. You can remove it for the audition. Temperatures will be taken at the door. Please bring picture and resume.
