Miss The Dance Clubs Tonight? Listen To DJ Shane Brown’s Special Coronavirus Mix!

Yeah, yeah, we know, it’s Saturday night and, well, this sucks.

Miss The Dance Clubs Tonight? Listen To DJ Shane Brown's Special Coronavirus Mix!You want to be out having a great time, listening to loud music, enjoying your friends and some cold beverages, and instead you’re boarded up in your house like it’s the zombie apocalypse.

Well, consider DJ Shane Brown your sonic Negan, slaying the beats like they’re the undead with his mixing board Lucille.

Yes, I really did write that.

You’re damn right I did.

Hey, I’ve been stuck inside the last three days just like you. I’m just trying to get through it without envying the squirrels too much. Those damn nut-eating, sunshine enjoying, backyard frolicking bastards.

Miss The Dance Clubs Tonight? Listen To DJ Shane Brown's Special Coronavirus Mix!Anyway, joking aside, Shane, who’s been playing awesome sets in clubs like 2nd Ave., the Stockade and, currently, Billy Bobs in the District, Rock Island, has put together a cool “Billy Bob’s To Go Coronavirus Lockdown Mix,” that you can hear here.

Turn it up, crack open some drinks, close your eyes and you can almost see the army of early twentysomethings navigating the never-ending social maze of love, lust, hookups, hilarity, exhilaration, inebriation and general memory-making and memory-forgetting on the bright lights of the dance floor.

It’s a good time.

So turn it up to 11, get ready to jam, have yourself some bevs and have a fun Saturday night!

(And yes, Shane, I know these pictures are of you at 2nd Ave.)

And don’t forget to say hello to the dancing cowboy guy. #summagelives.
