Looking For Jobs In Iowa? IowaWORKS Hosting Multi-Employer Hiring Event

In an effort to promote different career paths and occupations, IowaWORKS will host a Multi-Employer Hiring Event at the job center, 1801A East Kimberly Road, Davenporton Wednesday, March 16 from 10 am until 2 pm.
Twenty employers have been invited to share career opportunities and will be pre-screening candidates for potential employment.
The event is new in hopes of attracting more job seekers to diverse occupations.

The IowaWORKS center serves as a resource to job seekers who need help with resumes and interviewing skills.  They can also attend training workshops to help them in their job search. Job seekers can also utilize the computers available at the job center that they may not have access to otherwise.

IowaWORKS hopes to have a monthly Multi-Employer Hiring Event  to invite more employers to participate and offer an array of occupations that may attract ALL job seekers, including displaced workers, youth, older adults and those with barriers.
