Library in the Park with the Davenport Public Library & Davenport Parks and Recreation

The Davenport Public Library and the Davenport Parks & Recreation Department have teamed up with other City organizations to provide fun summer activities! The Library will be visiting eight parks each week providing storytimes, activities, and will also have a large selection of items available for check out. Sign up for a library card and register for our Summer Reading Program, too!

Library in the Park with the Davenport Public Library & Davenport Parks and RecreationLibrary in the Park will begin Tuesday, July 6th, and last until August 12th. We will be at the following parks on the following days and times each week:

Mondays: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Van Buren Park (205 S. Elmwood) &  2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Jefferson Park (1012 West 12th St.)

Tuesdays: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Goose Creek Park (6000 Scott St.) & 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Green Acres Park (2210 West 53rd St.)

Wednesdays: 10:00 am – 12:00 am at Cork Hill Park (1100 North Farnam St) & 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Tyler Park (2000 N. Grand Ave.)

Thursdays: 10:00 pm – 12:00 pm at Roosevelt Community Center (1220 Minnie Ave.) & 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Emeis Park (4500 West Locust St.)

Libraries in the Park is funded by Community Development Block Grant Programs through the City of Davenport
