Laugh Hard Comedy Challenge Yuks It Up At Rock Island's Speakeasy SaturdayThe Rock Island Speakeasy, 1828 3rd Ave., Rock Island, is presenting the Laugh Hard Challenge at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11.

We are pleased, once again, to be sponsoring the Speakeasy Laugh Stand Up Comedy Competition this year. We have two prelim rounds on September 11 and 18 and the finals will take place on September 25. The winner will receive $1,000 and the title of Laugh Hard Champion!
We are only accepting 30 comics. We will have 15 perform at each prelim and
the top five from both prelims move into the finals. The cost to enter is only $10 and can be done by clicking on link below and scrolling down to the competition info. You are paying via PayPal. Each person who enters will receive tickets for two free drinks on the evening you perform. That’s basically your $10 back!

​All shows are judged by a panel of selected judges, and audience reaction is one of the categories so bring your friends to cheer you on! In the past, we’ve had media personalities and bookers from other comedy clubs among the judges.
Tickets: $10 in advance/$12 day of show for anyone coming with you. There is no charge for the comics on the evening you’re performing.
Doors 7 pm, Show 8 pm for all three shows.
