Kewanee Hog Days Bringing The Fun In This Weekend!The Spotlight is on Saturday, Sept. 4! This day is huge with entertainment!
We start the day with the Kewanee Library Book Sale. Then go right into the Senior Citizens Hog Days Breakfast!
For all you runners and walkers, you won’t want to miss the Hog Days Stampede! A great event every year!
Ryan’s Round Barn is giving tours and stop by Hill Church for a Kids Carnival!
The World’s Largest Outdoor Pork BBQ kicks off at 11:00 A.M. and runs through 9:00 P.M.! Stop down or “drive-through” our newest addition, a Hog Days Chop Drive Thru! We are NOT serving chops on Friday, so this is the first chance to get them for the weekend!
Make sure you have your parade spot all scoped out early because we are kicking that off at 2:00 P.M.! Did we mention the Budweiser Clydesdales and the Marine Corps Band will BOTH be in our parade!
After the parade, head on over to West Park for our Craft Show/Flea Market! At 4:00 P.M. you can catch Lewis Knudsen providing some music for your listening pleasure!
You don’t have much time to rest, as you’ll want to hit those carnival rides from CDAC, Inc. Amusements!
By 6:00 P.M. you need to be at the Main Stage in the People’s Bank Parking lot to catch the United States Marine Corps Rock Band! Am I the only one that didn’t know they had a rock band?
Stick around to see the highly recommended Outpatience take the stage from 7:30 P.M. – 10:30 P.M.! What a perfect way to round out your day!
