Historic Preservation Collections Presented by Davenport Public Library
Join Davenport Public Library Friday, May 7th at 2:30 pm to explore and learn about the curious world of archives and manuscripts at the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center.
May’s topic will cover collections about historic preservation and local architecture in recognition of Historic Preservation Month. In 1973, the National Trust for Historic Preservation established May as a time to highlight and celebrate the historic places including the work accomplished by local preservation groups, state historical societies, business and civic organizations across the country. This presentation is open to any interested in learning more about our archives and manuscript collections. This program will be held virtually using GoToMeeting.
