Ballet Quad Cities Dancing Into Adler Theater
The Ballet Quad Cities performance scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Adler Theatre has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 29,

Ballet Quad Cities and the Quad City Symphony Orchestra’s Trio will co-headline a performance at the Adler Theatre on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. Special guest is Aaron Fullan, an actor, composer and social media influencer from Clinton, Iowa.
Ballet Quad Cities will feature audience favorites such as, the fun baseball themed “Players,” the jazzy and sophisticated “Sugar Rum Fairy,” the sunny and chill “Dream a Little Dream,” Meghan Phillips’ “Where Ever the Wind Takes Us,” and more.
Three superb Quad City Symphony Orchestra musicians, associate concertmaster Emily Nash, violist Bruno Silva, and associate principal bass Kit Polen, will perform Music of Appalachia.
Reserved seat tickets ($25) for the Saturday, May 29, 2021 performance are available in person at the Adler Theatre Box Office (136 E. 3rd St.) and online at Ticketmaster.com. $10 tickets for students and seniors (60 years & up) are on sale at the box office.
Tickets to the socially-distanced event will be sold in pods. Guests must purchase all seats within a selected pod. Face coverings are required unless you are actively eating or drinking.

Join Davenport Public Library Monday, May 24th at 6:30 pm for a virtual craft and socialize hour! Bring your current project: knitting, crocheting, quilting, journaling, anything craft-related, and socialize online with other crafters for an hour. We’ll provide the (virtual) space and you bring your projects!

Beehive Buzzing Into Circa
BEEHIVE The ’60s Musical is buzzing in to Rock Island‘s Circa ’21 May 19-July 10!
A fun, frothy flashback to the fabulous females who unmistakably left their mark on ’60s pop music. Matching big voices with big hairdos, Beehive features nonstop hits from early decade bubble gum classics to the explosive late ‘60s soul sound.
Paying tribute to performers such as Brenda Lee, The Supremes, Connie Francis, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin, this irresistible revue will fly you back in time to experience firsthand the music that thrilled a generation.
Come rock out with “Respect,” “Natural Woman,” “My Boyfriend’s Back,” “One Fine Day,” “Downtown” and more! With two dozen beloved hits, the show takes you on a journey through song, documenting the dramatic changes that America underwent during the ‘60s.
If you like ’50s and ’60s music, BEEHIVE The ‘60s Musical will have you dancing in your seats and coming back for more!
The theater is presenting performances on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and matinees on Wednesday and Fridays. Tickets are $49.73 per person for the matinee and $56.55 per person for the evening shows. All performances include a plated meal served at the table. Due to COVID restrictions, the theater is currently not able to use its buffets. Masks also are required when moving around the theater.

Mental Health Program Hosted By Library
May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Join us Tuesday, May 25th at 6:00 pm for a discussion on various mental health issues.
We will talk about the associated signs and symptoms of different mental health disorders. Also, we will talk about when to get professional help and how to do it.
This presentation is presented by the Vera French Mental Health Center.

Live On Tuesday Night, It’s Trivia Night Live!
Trivia Night Live is rolling into The Tangled Wood in Bettendorf every Tuesday at 7 p.m.!
It’s Free To Play, with up to eight people per team playing in various categories.
What is Trivia Night Live?
Trivia Night Live is a live interactive team trivia game played at your favorite restaurants and bars. The game consists of four rounds of questions of increasing difficulty and point values. Categories range from current events, history, geography, science, sports, and more….
Trivia Night Live is free to play, and you can have up to 8 members on a team.
Prizes are awarded for the winner of the 1st half and the overall winners win a $25 gift card for 1st Place, $10 for 2nd Place (cannot be used the same night).
