Festival Of Trees Balloon Parade Floats Into Downtown Davenport Today!

The holiday season kicks off with a larger-than-life celebration as the Midwest’s largest helium balloon parade returns to downtown Davenport! Featuring an array of giant, colorful character balloons, this year’s parade will include favorites like the Santa Garfield, a GIANT Blue Macaw, PJ Mask, the classic Gingerbread Man, and even Kung Fu Panda! And who knows? You might spot a few more surprises along the way.

This FREE, family-friendly event will be broadcast live by KWQC-TV6, showcasing not only the massive balloons but also dazzling floats, spirited dance groups, marching bands, vintage cars, and the reigning pageant queens—all coming together to bring joy and excitement to the heart of the Quad Cities. And, of course, Santa Claus himself will make a special appearance to spread some holiday magic!
The parade begins at the corner of 3rd Street and Pershing Avenue, traveling west down 3rd Street, turning at Scott Street, and looping back down 2nd Street to conclude at 2nd Street and Iowa Avenue. Don’t miss out on this spectacular kickoff to the holiday season—mark your calendars for a day of fun, excitement, and holiday cheer!
