Everything always seems a little spookier around Halloween time, and the German American Heritage Center and Museum is no exception!

The German American Heritage Center and Museum (712 W 2nd St. Davenport) is once again hosting ‘The Darker Side of Davenport Ghost Tour’ tonight and Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. This thrilling walk through historic Davenport will keep you on your toes.Darker Side of Davenport Comes to Light at GAHC

A string of murders at a barbershop, a fire at a mental hospital, apparitions at City Hall, seances at Palmer College and a death at the Germania Hotel. Davenport has a history of nefarious and paranormal events since its establishment in 1836. Join us as we take a walk through downtown and learn many of the eerie and captivating stories of mysterious happenings in the city. This updated version of the tour will not only creep you out but help you to learn more about the stories that comprise the city’s history.
Tours are $20 per person, space is limited so get them soon!

Tours are approximately 90-120 minutes in length. The meeting point is in the lobby of the German American Heritage Center.
