This talented comedy ventriloquist is coming to the I Wireless Center in Moline on Wednesday, February 8. Jeff Dunham has been practicing the art of ventriloquism since the age of eight and has been performing in front of audiences since he was a teenager. Some of his most famous characters include Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Peanut, and Walter. One of his idols was the great Edgar Bergen, whose Mortimer Snerd character also helped intrigue Dunham into ventriloquism. Dunham’s current tour is titled “Not Playing with a Full Deck,” which is played at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and has been running since 2014. In addition to his tours, he also has done multiple films and television specials. Some of his on screen and voice role appearances include: The Nut Job, Hell’s Kitchen, 30 Rock, From Up on Poppy Hill, Big Top Scooby-Doo, and Sonny with a Chance. He also has several of his own shows and television specials such as: The Jeff Dunham Show, Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity, Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself, and Jeff Dunham: All Over the Map.
