WQPT Popping The Cork On Champagne FundraiserPeople love a good mystery, whether it be a theft, a kidnapping, a disappearance, or a good murder. For WQPT’s upcoming fundraiser, the theme provokes you to think deductively with a Murder Mystery. This thrilling event will include a silent auction, a live auction, dinner, desert, and a murder investigation. At 6:00 p.m. on January 27, WQPT is holding their fundraiser at The Outing Club. This is a cocktail attire event and tickets can be purchased at the following link: https://www.qtego.net/qlink/wiu. The Outing Club is held at 2109 Brady Street in Davenport.

WQPT is also looking for gifts for their auctions that you can donate. These gifts can include: theme baskets, gift certificates, home and garden, time-shares/cabins/condos, weekend get-away packages, electronics, sport items and tickets, jewelry and art, and fun experiences. Please call WQPT at (309) 764-2400 to make a donation.  WQPT is the regional PBS station. It includes PBS Kids and Masterpiece along with its many other programs.

The Outing Club is a part of Davenport’s historic district and is used as a venue for many events ranging from fundraisers to weddings. It is known as the “Grande Dame of clubs” in the Quad Cities. The 125-year-old private club is member owned and includes a clubhouse and several facilities including tennis courts, a pool, a dining patio, a scenic front lawn, food venues, a fitness center, and a bowling alley. This family friendly club is sure to be full of fun entertainment.
