Time For A Magical Moondance At RME

Are you in the mood for some live music? How about helping raise money for area youths to obtain music education and performance opportunities, while enjoying some live music?

Moondance 2017 is happening this Saturday Oct 14 in the Redstone Room at the River Music Experience (129 N Main St Davenport). Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at http://rivermusicexperience.org/Upcoming-Events/Calendar-of-Events/Moondance-2017.

All proceeds from this spectacular event go to benefit the Karli Rose Kell Music Scholarship Fund at RME. Karli Rose Kell was the daughter of musical legend Ellis Kell and his wife Kristi Kell. She passed away in 2002 due to an automobile accident. The scholarship fund was set up in her honor, and has provided numerous musical education opportunities to the area’s youth who would not otherwise receive such opportunities.

This year’s Moondance line-up includes music from Lissie, The Whoozdads, Erin Moore and Mo Carter. Complimentary food will be provided by local master chef, Kyle Verschorre.

Throughout the evening there will also be a silent auction and raffle prizes. If you are interested in donating auction or raffle items, they can be dropped off at RME during business hours through Friday Oct 13. If you would like to make a cash donation to the Karli Rose Kell fund, please call (309) 314-8084 or email kellke2012@gmail.com.

Moondance 2017 will be the first since the passing of Ellis Kell. Let’s make this year’s event one to make him proud!
