Spend a Sultry Evening at Triple Crown Whiskey Bar & Raccoon Motel
An amazing lineup of talented women are taking over in Davenport this Wednesday night.
Come check out Elizabeth Moen, with Katie Sin and Elly H, at Triple Crown Whiskey Bar & Raccoon Motel (304 E 3rd Street Davenport) this Wednesday Feb 13. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
With a sultry and intoxicating voice, Elizabeth Moen lures you in. Paired with introspective lyrics that echo both bitter and sweet, her music will captivate you then stay with you. Hailing from the small town of Vinton, Iowa located in the middle of the heartland, Moen taught herself how to play guitar as a teenager. Inspired by a mix of modern artists such as Alabama Shakes, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen and Lake Street Dive (who she has supported), and older influences like Stevie Nicks and Joni Mitchell, Moen isn’t locked into a single style.
Katie Sin is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Iowa. Katie’s songwriting style reflects eclectic influences, combining folk music with elements like romantic cinematic strings and rumbling rock ‘n roll beats. Though Katie Sin’s songs are wide-ranging in sound, they all reflect her unique perspective as if she has taken familiar American music from the Heartland and shown you a new way to listen. Katie is also part of the folk-lounge band Pink Neighbor and the collaborative songwriting project The Plain Mosaic.
The mesmerizing and sultry sound of Elly H, in addition to her heartfelt lyrics, will leave you wanting more. To listen to Elly H now, check out https://soundcloud.com/elly-hofmaier.
