Sew Many Scraps Eventful, Affordable and Altruistic

If you are looking for an eventful weekend getaway that is affordable and not so far away, you’ll want to attend Adam’s Alliance, MS Crop’s Sew Many Scraps crafting event. From Thursday, March 2, till Sunday, March 5 Adam’s Alliance will be hosting 81 hours of crafting time at Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center at 226 17th Street in Rock Island. This will be their fourth annual weekend hosting this event. Unlimited snacks and drinks will be offered, six feet of crafting space available, and there will be a chance to win a door prize. What is not included in this package deal are: hotel sleeping room, and massages and purchase from the vendors on-site. The package prices range from $40 for one day not including food, to $150 which includes all weekend and 6 meals. All proceeds will be donated to the National MS Society, Greater Illinois Chapter.

Hotel rooms are priced at $82 a night not including tax. For more information on booking a room with Adam’s Alliance’s group rate, you can contact the hotel at (309) 794-1212. Please make sure to request the group rate for the Alliance. This offer lasts until February 10th.

Adam’s Alliance, MS Crop is an organization that fundraises and donates money through events in an effort to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. It was founded in 2004 and the MS Corp portion was started in 2007. Thanks to the people who attend their events and donate, they have donated $42,435.
