Run for a Day and Give Hope For a Lifetime at the Color Blaze 5k!

Are you ready for the 2nd annual Color Blaze 5k? This year will be bigger, better, and more colorful!

Color Blaze 5k Run/Walk will take place this Saturday Jul 20 in Hollyhock Park (201 6th Street N LeClaire) from 8 – 11 a.m.Run for a Day and Give Hope For a Lifetime at the Color Blaze 5k!

Gather up some friends and family and get ready for the most colorful day of your life! This event will be full of color and fun, so be prepared to get messy! Everyone is welcome to attend this event as there are no age restrictions in place.

Each runner who signed up before the Jul 6 will be given a t-shirt, a grab bag with all kinds of fun stuff inside, and an individual color packet. Not signed up yet? Don’t worry!

Runners that sign up after Jul 6 will receive a race bib, individual color packet, and will be entered in a drawing. There will be a limited number of shirts available after the deadline, so please reach out if you would like to see if there are any more! Run for a Day and Give Hope For a Lifetime at the Color Blaze 5k!This is an untimed event because we hope people will enjoy the moment more without the pressure of finishing the race quickly.

All proceeds from the Color Blaze 5k Run/Walk will go to The Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. The money donated will be used to help bring us closer to the end of childhood cancer. We run for a day to give them hope for a lifetime.
