Recycle the Runway Reclaiming Purpose in a Throwaway World

Recycle the Runway 2019 is back and better than ever!

Dress for Success Quad Cities presents Recycle the Runway 2019, which takes place on Thursday Apr 18 from 5:30 – 9 p.m. at the RiverCenter (136 E 3rd Street Davenport).Recycle the Runway Reclaiming Purpose in a Throwaway World

Welcoming back Royal Neighbors of America and welcoming aboard Exelon Generation Quad Cities Station as co-sponsors, Recycle the Runway is a one-of-a-kind experience where a juried selection of 10 local designers showcase runway-ready ensembles crafted from bags of recycled clothing and accessories generously donated to Dress for Success Quad Cities but deemed not quite workplace appropriate. A panel of celebrity judges will select 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners with the top designer taking home cash prizes.

In addition to a dazzling fashion show, the evening features vendors offering interactive experiences, a silent auction with donations from your favorite Quad City businesses, heavy appetizers, and wine & cocktail cash bars all inside the River Center’s Great River Hall to immerse you in the night’s theme – “Reclaiming purpose in a throwaway world.”

Individual tickets are just $65 and can be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/recycle-the-runway-2019-tickets-51331554060.
