Quad-Cities Museum Week Offers Fun For Families And More
Quad-Citians are encouraged to Discover the Mysteries of their local museums during Quad-Cities Museum Week June 18-26. Museums from across the Quad Cities region are coming together for the second annual Quad-Cities Museum Week and patrons can enjoy this celebration of our region’s museums and participate in special activities, exhibits and promotions during this fun-filled week.
New this year, each museum will feature a little known mystery about something at their museum. It could be part of their collection or even something about their building. It’s up to the attendees to check it out and figure it out!
Museum Week is the perfect opportunity for families and friends to get out and explore. Each museum features its own, unique theme, history, galleries, and exhibits. Come and discover these wonderful gems that add to the quality of life in our region.
Participating museums include Buffalo Bill Cody Homestead, Buffalo Bill Museum, Butterworth Center, Dan Nagle Walnut Grove Pioneer Village, Deere-Wiman House, Family Museum, Figge Art Museum, German American Heritage Museum, Iowa 80 Trucking Museum, Putnam Museum, Rock Island County Historical Society and more.
