Quad Cities’ Beck and Woods Celebrate Writers Guild Nomination For “A Quiet Place”
Former Quad-Citians Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, the writers of the critically-acclaimed, award-winning film “A Quiet Place,” were recently members of the #BeyondWords 2019 panel event hosted on Thur. Feb. 7th at Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills, saluting 2019 #WritersGuildAwards-nominated screenwriters, presented by Writers Guild of America West & Writers Guild Foundation in partnership with Variety and sponsor Final Draft.
2019 #WritersGuildAwards-nominated screenwriters who appeared included: Bo Burnham (Eighth Grade), Joe Robert Cole (Black Panther), Brian Currie & Peter Farrelly (Green Book), Lauren Greenfield (Generation Wealth), Nicole Holofcener (Can You Ever Forgive Me?), Ozzy Inguanzo & Dava Whisenant (Bathtubs Over Broadway), Gabe Polsky (In Search of Greatness), Eric Roth (A Star is Born), Kevin Willmott (BlacKkKlansman), and Bryan Woods & Scott Beck (A Quiet Place).
