Prenzie Players Present a Show Outta Nothin’!

Are you a fan of Shakespeare? Do you enjoy watching live on-stage performances while helping local community theater groups? Then you cannot miss this memorable evening!

The Prenzie Players will be gracing the stage this Saturday Jul 27 at the Quad City Theater Workshop, located at 1730 Wilkes Ave Davenport. Showtime is at 8 p.m. and a suggested donation of $15 can be paid at the door.Prenzie Players Present a Show Outta Nothin’!

What timeless and magnificent Shakespearean screenplay will you be enjoying? Good question! Also, a question that the on-stage actors won’t have an answer to until twenty-four hours prior to showtime! That’s right, these wild and crazy Prenzie Players are going to randomly choose a play and then within twenty-four hours will cast it, rehearse and perform it the next night!

Last year’s “Shakespeare Play in Just One Day” fundraiser (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) was so much fun, Prenzie Players decided to do it again! This time under the title “Show Outta Nothin'” (an allusion to the unlikely genesis of the first Prenzie show, “Measure for Measure”).

By attending, you will also be entering a drawing to win a unique, Shakespeare-themed prize! If you make a reservation more than 24 hours in advance, you will double your chances of winning! Reservations can be made online.

The Prenzie Players are an ever-expanding community theater troupe whose overarching goal is to entertain, educate, and engage the common (and not-so-common) theatre-goer in the Quad Cities.

Come witness method in the madness, this Saturday night!
