Make Your Dog Famous at PawParazzi at the Putnam!
Is your pup ready for their close-up? You and your “best friend” can bring your unique style to the red carpet and compete for top-dog status as Mr. or Miss Canine QC at PawParazzi!
Join fellow dog-lovers on Saturday Mar 23 at the Putnam Museum (1717 W 12th Street Davenport), and celebrate canine companionship as you walk the red carpet with your dog, snap a picture in the photo booth, and take home a buy-one-get-one-free coupon to watch the Putnam’s newest GIANT Screen movie, Superpower Dogs 3D — opening Mar 16!
For just $20, you can strut as a serious contender or walk just for fun! All contestants will be eligible to win prizes, with the top prizes of FREE one-hour photo sessions with Francescon Portraiture, $100 portrait credits and having your dog’s picture featured on the GIANT Screen!
To register for one of three time slots, 1-2 p.m., 2-3 p.m. or 3-4 p.m., visit http://www.putnam.org/Calendar/PawParazzi.
Dog owners can perform as they wait for their moment in the spotlight on the Dog Trick stage and can emblazon their love for their four-legged friends on the Paws of Fame, on display at the ticket counter!
Spectators are FREE, and may purchase tickets to Superpower Dogs 3D, playing at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. — $9 for adults / $8 youth, senior, military and college student. (Members save $1 on movie showings.) For more upcoming show times, click here.
Dogs are allowed only in the Putnam’s Grand Lobby and will not be permitted in the museum or theater. Walk-up entries are permitted during the day of the event, but advanced registration is encouraged.
Vote online starting Mar 26 to determine the two winners of a FREE one-hour photo session with Francescon Portraiture and a $100 portrait credit. Winners will be announced after voting closes on Apr 6 and will also have their photo displayed in the GIANT Screen Theater during every screening of Super Power Dogs!
Contestants are also eligible to enter a fabulous dog prize basket raffle, and may download their photos from the shoot on the Francescon Portraiture Facebook page.
