Have A Warm Time At The Winter CarnivalJust because it’s cold outdoors doesn’t mean you have to stay in! Come celebrate the cooler weather with the City of Bettendorf for their 2nd Annual Winter Carnival!

This Saturday Jan 20 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. activities will be set up throughout Bettendorf for this year’s Winter Carnival. All activities are free and open to all ages!

Stop by the Bettendorf Library (2950 Learning Campus Drive) for some amazing and all-inclusive activities. The library will be hosting 30-45 minute classes for all ages. You can learn how to make a fidget spinner, weave, be Red Cross ready, make no-sew hand warmers, play chess, recognize fake news, feed the birds in the winter and much more! The Family Museum (2900 Learning Campus Drive) will be celebrating with $4 admission for the day! There will be dry ice demonstrations, milk jug igloo making and free hot cocoa.

The Life Fitness Center (2222 Middle Road) will be offering free admission for the day. There will be some pom-pom hockey, snowman bowling, snowy slime making, a jingle bell toss and pin the heart on the Grinch.

Stop by Faye’s Field (18th Street and Learning Campus Drive) for ice painting and snow games!

Shuttle service will be available from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and will make stops at the Learning Campus in front of Family Museum, Palmer Hills Golf Course (cross country skiing), Crow Creek Park (winter trails) and Life Fitness Center/Frozen Landing (ice skating and LFC activities) every 15 minutes, approximately.
