From Tractor Pulls To Trailer Races, From Beauty Queens To Bands, the County Fair Has It All
From pageant queens to trailer races, from tractor pulls to live music, the Rock Island County Fair has been offering outdoor entertainment for 147 years. This year’s fair, running Tuesday, July 19 through Saturday, July 23, is expected to draw more than 40,000 people for a livestock show, arts and craft shows, rides, and live entertainment to the fairgrounds at 4200 Archer Ave., East Moline.
Kids Day is Wednesday, July 20 from 1 to 5 p.m. Children can check out a Kiddie tractor pull in the QC International Airport’s Family Tent at 1 p.m., a Robotics demonstration in the QC International Airport’s Family Tent (following the kiddie tractor pull) and meet Happy the Dog and Louie the Lightening Bug.
Military Appreciation Day is Saturday, July 23 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Active or Retired Military and their families can get in free with a military ID.
Kids can get in free to the fair as well. All they have to do is pick up a coloring page at your local library, McDonalds (Illinois Quad City locations), or Happy Joes (Colona, East Moline, or Rock Island locations), and bring it with you to the fair for free gate admission until 8 pm daily. Your picture will also be hung up for display during the week of the fair.

Night of Destruction (trailer races) - 7:00 pm – Thursday, July 21
Truck & Tractor Pull - 7:00 pm – Friday, July 22
Demo Derby (Rules) - 7:00 pm -Saturday, July 23

Grandstand Pricing is ages 13 and up $10, ages 6 – 12, $5 and kids 5-and-under free.
Gate admission is $2 for people 13-and-older and $1 for ages 6-12, with kids under 5 getting in free. After 8:30 gate admission increases to $5 for all ages 6-and-up.
