Country Night at The Spotlight Theatre!

Calling all country music fans in the Quad Cities!

Join REMAX Elite Homes on Saturday Apr 27 at The Spotlight Theatre (1800 7th Avenue Moline) for Country Night, beginning at 7:30 p.m.!

Country Night at The Spotlight features rising country music artist, Jake McVey, with opening acts: Elizabeth Mary and the Quad Cities’ very own, Wild Oatz!Country Night at The Spotlight Theatre!

Jake McVey is a rising country music artist currently residing in Nashville, TN.Music has the power to move the masses and few artists understand that better than Jake McVey. A relentless road dog who performs 250+ dates a year, McVey has earned a loyal fan base that’s addicted to his fiery stage show and arsenal of ear-grabbing songs. A compelling performer who combines his upbeat music and a youthful enthusiasm with a seasoned eye for reading a crowd, McVey gives his all at every show. “It’s all about entertaining the fans and showing each and every person in the room a good time.” He’s shared the stage with some of country’s most acclaimed acts, including Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, and Dierks Bentley.

Elizabeth Mary Music- Never one to go with the crowd, Elizabeth Mary danced with the fear and resigned from her 9-5 career position to pursue her music. The following week, she was opening for national country act Collin Raye building her fan base as a solo artist.  Elizabeth set out to record her new newest single “Breathe in Girl” in the fall of 2018. From the bathroom floor to the recording studio, “Breathe in Girl” touched many listeners by the honest and vulnerable lyrics including, “I hate to spoil the ending but you’re going to be ok.” Breathe in Girl was digitally released October 2018 receiving local and regional radio play. After the release of “Breathe in Girl,” plans began for her next big project. Elizabeth Mary just announced the beginning of her first full length album, “Meet Me in Madison” expected to be released Spring 2019.

Wild Oatz Band is a Quad Cities band that plays 30 to 50 some dates a year. They have been together since 2006 and play at local QC night spots such as Harley Corin’s, Len Brown’s North Shore Inn, The Gypsy Highway, and Missipi Brew in Muscatine, IA to name a few. The past few years, we’ve played at the Mississippi Valley Fair at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. They play at numerous outdoor fests, plus weddings and parties. They play new country hits, with a little rock & roll and blues thrown in to spice things up. As well as some well written originals. This group plays long power packed sets music that always keeping the audience engaged no matter where they play. The group consists of: Megan Weber (Vocals), Scott Jeffries (Drums & Vocals), Matt Orwitz (Bass), Scott Stieger (Guitar) and Dave Barnes (Guitar & Vocals).

Head to PUB1848 after the concert for a post-party! Guests will have their first drink covered just by simply turning in their wristband from the concert.
