Christmas in the Village of East Davenport!

The ultimate Christmas celebration happens this weekend in the Village of East Davenport!

Christmas in the Village happens this Friday Nov 30 and Saturday Dec 1 from 6 – 9 p.m. both nights, throughout the Village of East Davenport. East 11th Street will be closed both evenings from Mound Street to Jersey Ridge Road.Christmas in the Village of East Davenport!

This festive event has been celebrated for more than 40 years and features live music throughout the Village and plenty of free family fun!

Enjoy retro fire truck rides throughout the Village and even a chance to see Santa at the Village Fire House! He will arrive each evening at 6 p.m. by fire truck on 11th Street.

Catch appearances from the Grinch, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and even Jack Frost will be nipping noses throughout the Village! The Metro Drum Corp will perform on Saturday at 7 p.m. Don’t miss out on the Winter Sparkle Fireworks on Saturday at 9 p.m.!

Here are some of the fun family activities for all to enjoy:

Camp McClellan Cellars (2302 E 11th St. Davenport)

Trolley rides will be offered! Board in the parking lot behind the building on Jersey Ridge Road.

Boyler’s Building (across from the Fire Station on 11th Street)

Stop by and visit with Scrooge, himself!

Bayside Bistro (1105 Christie Street Davenport)

A Kids Crafting Center will be available to create that special Christmas memory.

Edward Jones (2107 E 11th St. Davenport)

Snuggle up to a greyhound, courtesy of Quad Cities Greyhound Adoption.

The Village Theatre (2113 E 11th St. Davenport)

Enjoy live music and some amazing face painting!

Gildea’s Pocket Park (corner of Mound St. and E 11th St.)

Stop by and appreciate a Petting Zoo and Nativity Scene!

Giraffe Photography (2302 E 11th St. Davenport)

Miss Iowa, Mikhayla Hughes-Shaw will be reading Christmas stories to children on Saturday evening!
