Celebrate Your Quad Cities Pride This Week!
Hey Quad Cities, it’s time to show your PRIDE! That’s right, QC Pride’s Unity Pride Week is back for the second year!
To help fulfill their mission of promoting awareness and visibility of the LGBTQ+ community in the Quad Cities, QC Pride has a full week of fun events planned. QC Pride Week kicks off Saturday Jun 22 and runs all the way through Saturday Jun 29.
Check out some of these amazing opportunities to show your PRIDE:
Saturday Jun 22
Get this incredible week started off with Brunch at the Radisson (111 East Second Street Davenport) from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. 10% of all revenue will be donated to the QC Unity Pride Organization.
The Unity Pride Parade will take place on Saturday Jun 22. The parade will begin on E. 2nd Street in Davenport at 11 a.m. It will then proceed across the Centennial Bridge and continue onto 3rd Avenue in Rock Island.
Are you a parent that wishes to share the unconditional love you have for children of the LGBTQ+ community, young and old? Check out the Free Mom Hugs Facebook page for more information.
The fun doesn’t end with the parade! Stick around and celebrate at the Parade After-Party. This collaboration of music, food, drinks and fun will take place immediately following the parade. This will be held block party style between Roosters and Roxx Toxx and will include flame thrower entertainment, DJ, drag show and so much more.
Sunday Jun 23
