Celebrate Summer at Coal Valley Days!
With summer in full swing so are the carnivals, car shows and parades! This weekend is no exception. Coal Valley Days are upon us!
Friday July 7 and Saturday July 8, Coal Valley is hosting their annual Valley Days celebration! All events take place at the Coal Valley Municipal Park on First Street. Come out for carnival rides, a car show, parade and more!
Here is the full schedule for the weekend:
Friday July 5
Noon – 11:30 p.m. Inflatables, Beer Tent, Games, etc.
Noon – 8 p.m. Craft Vendor Fair
2 – 7 p.m. DJ & Karaoke by Fat Dawgs Entertainment
3:30 p.m. Doggie Dash Registration
4 – 4:30 p.m. Doggie Dash (on the ball diamond)
5 p.m. BBQ Cook-Off Contest ($10 wristbands)
5 – 9 p.m. Car Cruise-In
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Beginner Line Dance at center stage w/Twisted Leather Dance
9 p.m. (Dusk) Fireworks in the Park *Bring Lawn Chairs*
7 p.m. – Midnight Band- North of 40
Saturday July 6
7 – 10:30 a.m. Pancake Breakfast at CV Fire Station
8 a.m. – Noon Car Show Registration
10 a.m. BBQ Cook-Off Contest ($10 wristbands)
9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Craft Vendor Fair
9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Car Show – Show & Shine
9 a.m. – Midnight Inflatables for all ages – $10 Wristbands All Day
9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Chalk the Walk (Sidewalk between park & school)
11:30 – 12:45 p.m. Parade Registration & Line Up starts at Trimble
1 p.m. Parade goes down First Street to BHSB
2:30 p.m. Twisted Leather Dance presents Grease Flashmob
3 p.m. Car Show Awards
3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Beginner Line Dance w/ Twisted Leather Dance
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Twisted Leather Dance will dance – Join if interested
7 p.m. – 12 a.m. Band – Gray Wolf
