Celebrate Global Running Day with The BIG Run 5k

How do you plan to celebrate Global Running Day? How about the biggest Fleet Feet event, ever?

The BIG Run 5K will be taking place on Wednesday Jun 5, with starting location at The Rust Belt (533 12th Avenue East Moline). A family-friendly 5k, kids run and The BIG Show afterwards will provide the perfect celebration to Global Running Day!Celebrate Global Running Day with The BIG Run 5k

New this year, runners’ beautiful route will start and finish in front of East Moline’s Rust Belt, a revitalized car manufacturing plant turned music venue, brewery, fitness facility, design studio and retail destination. Runners and walkers will soon find themselves atop the berm of the Ben Butterworth Parkway, overlooking the Mighty Mississippi. There could be no better visual backdrop for a BIG Run than our country’s BIG waterway!

The cost to enter The BIG Run 5k is only $35 and the kids run is free. Registration can be completed here.

Early Packet Pickup will be held at Fleet Feet in Davenport (4257 Elmore Avenue) on Tuesday, Jun 4 from 12 – 8 p.m.

Race Day Pickup will be held from 5 – 6 p.m. at The Rust Belt (533 12th Avenue East Moline).

A celebration recognizing finishers and award winners will take place after the run. Following the awards, all participants are welcomed to spill into the Rust Belt for an exclusive concert brought to you by Moeller Nights, set to begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are included with your registration, but will otherwise cost $25.
