Bettendorf’s Winter Carnival Providing Fun For All!
The City of Bettendorf hosts their 4th Annual Winter Carnival this Saturday Feb 1 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Activities will be set up throughout Bettendorf for the 2020 Winter Carnival. All activities are free and open to all ages!
Stop by the Bettendorf Library (2950 Learning Campus Drive) for some amazing and all-inclusive fun. Enjoy activities and crafts with Nahant Marsh, The Figge, QC Yoga Foundation, Master Gardeners; snowflake crafts for every age, tin foil art, and Little Hands Site with activities for ages 5 and under. The Family Museum (2900 Learning Campus Drive) will be celebrating with $5 admission for the day! You will be able to Make a Snowflake in the Art Studio, play with pretend snow and make a snowman with model magic in the Clay Studio.
The Life Fitness Center (2222 Middle Road) will be filled with fun activities! Enjoy a snowBELL toss, pompom hockey, pin the nose on the snowman, snowball fight, coloring station, winter wonderland photo station and Ralph Breaks the Internet, in the Movie Zone.
Stop by Faye’s Field (18th Street and Learning Campus Drive) for a snow obstacle course and snow painting (weather permitting).
Frozen Landing (Middle Road and 23rd Street) will have ice skating open. Skate rentals are $2 and if you bring your own, skating is only $1!
Shuttle service will be available from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and will make stops at the Learning Campus in front of Family Museum, Palmer Hills Golf Course (upper parking lot behind the Pro Shop), Life Fitness Center (parking lot across from the Life Fitness Center) and Frozen Landing (parking lot between Frozen Landing and Splash Landing) every 10 minutes, approximately.
