2nd Annual Christkindlmarkt at German American Heritage Center
The German American Heritage Center hosts their 2nd Annual Christkindlmarkt Fair this weekend, and you’re invited!
This admission-free event will take place at the German American Heritage Center (712 W 2nd St Davenport) this Saturday Dec 15 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Over 20 local vendors from all over the area will be located on the 4th floor of the GAHC selling crafts, delectable and other holiday goodies. Come find that special gift you’ve been looking for!
When you are finished perusing and shopping, make sure to stop by the ‘Twas the Night Before Weihnachten: A German Christmas Story’ exhibit. The seventh graders of the CAA have imagined, designed, and crafted every aspect of this new exhibit. From Gingerbread to Christmas demons, the students share what a typical German Christmas may look like! Every aspect from panel design, to objects, to interactive, and even marketing was handled by the students! Come and see the talent our community has to offer!
