The annual Holiday Hop event returns to downtown Moline Centre on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9.  During this free, all-ages two-day event, merchants throughout downtown Moline offer events, activities, and specials to celebrate the start of the holiday season.

Free trolley rides and ADA paratransit are available during Holiday Hop, with pickup and unloading at eight locations throughout downtown Moline.  Trolleys and paratransit are available 4:00-8:00pm on Friday, November 8, and noon-6:00pm on Saturday, November 9.  The trolley/paratransit route is available at www.holiday-hop.com.

Highlights of the 2024 Holiday Hop event include:

–              More than forty locations of events, activities, and specials

–              Eight convenient trolley and paratransit pickup and unloading locations

–              Live holiday music, including a quartet and pop-events, sponsored by Renew Moline and Sound Conservatory

–              A chance to win two Premium Tickets for Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s December 20th show at Vibrant Arena and a $100 gift card for Tony’s Chicago Style Pizzeria from iHeart Media and Mix96

–              A “Stocking Stuffer” drawing with chances to win prizes from Moline Centre Merchants

–              New Holiday Hop locations, including Arlo & Elm, Atlas Collective, Sound Conservatory, and Your Suite Hair

–              Mobile photo booth Snap Wagon, sponsored by iHeart Media and Mix96, at Pour Bros. Craft Taproom

–              Holiday Hop pop-up market at 1500 River Drive

–              Latin Holiday Bazaar at Mercado on Fifth (Friday 4-8:00pm)

–              Appearances by the Grinch, Santa, and Mrs. Claus

–              Ice carving and holiday inflatables at the Historic Block Courtyard, 1520 River Drive, Moline

–              Toys for Tots donation collection at Rouse Consulting, Bent River Brewing Company, and Pub 1848

–              Holiday-themed storefront displays throughout downtown Moline
