Davenport Public Library Invites You to a Weeklong Celebration to Color Our Collections
Celebrate #ColorOurCollections Week by picking up a take-home coloring kit from The Library and consider joining us in person for an evening of coloring. We have designed a coloring kit for you to enjoy and learn more about our area’s local history and collections. Twenty kits will be available for pick up at | Main, | Eastern, and | Fairmount. Kits are available to pick up Monday, February 6th through Friday, February 10th while supplies last!
Included in each kit is:
- a 4-count package of crayons
- a coloring booklet
- a black and white sticker to color
- & a mystery bonus.
The fun isn’t over- join us on Wednesday, February 8th at 6:30pm at | Fairmount and Saturday, February 11th at 4pm at | Eastern for a relaxing evening of coloring our 6th annual coloring book created from materials and books in the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center. Coloring supplies will be provided.
ColorOurCollections.org is a weeklong event at the beginning of February that supports the exploration and connections between libraries, their collections, and their communities.
